WHAT IS MASSAGE THERAPY?
Massage Therapy is the manipuation of soft tissues of the human body to achieve a therapeutic response. These include muscles, connective tissue, tendons and ligaments.
There is great value in regular massage therapy treatment with a Registered Massage Therapist. Whether you could benefit from relaxation, relief of muscle tension/joint pain, reducing blood pressure, massage therapy can help benefit your overall health and well-being.
Massage Therapy can help decrease physical dysfunction of muscles & joints associated with occupational stresses, muscluar over-use, trauma, and other musculoskeletal disorders.
Massage Therapy is also a great form of preventative healthcare however it also helps to encourage the body's own healing process and decrease healing time for both acute & chronic conditions.
